About Joanne

Joanne Hobbs was promoted to Vice President, Head of Claims in August 2025. She joined Merchants in 2020 as Litigation Manager and quickly advanced within the company’s claims leadership, being promoted to Senior Litigation Manager and Corporate Casualty Manager in 2023, then Senior Corporate Casualty Claim Manager and Assistant Vice President, Head of Claims, in 2024.

She brings more than 20 years of claims experience to the role.
