As a landscaper, you face a number of challenges on the job, but you shouldn’t have to worry about your business. Make sure you’re protected with the right insurance to keep your business covered.
Every business is different, but most landscapers need basic insurance
Our Landscaper coverage provides a number of automatic property and liability coverages to protect your business.
What does a landscaper need to make sure their business is protected?
Merchants has you covered with our MAP® Contractors Package designed for contractors! A few of our automatic coverages that you need to protect your business include:
Commercial General Liability Insurance
Also called general liability (or GL) insurance, this helps protect your business from third-party claims involving bodily injury and property damage. For example, this coverage protects you if a customer is injured in your business office or you damage a customer’s property while working at their site.
Protects your equipment and valuable tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears, and hedge trimmers, and includes coverages such as rented equipment and employee tools and clothing, with various limits.
Protects your property such as materials, supplies and fixtures intended to be installed, while at the job site, in temporary storage or in transit.
Need Additional Coverage?
Merchants also offers Optional Coverages to complete your Handyman Insurance policy. While MAP® Contractors Package provides comprehensive included coverages for your business, you may want to add additional coverages, such as:
