A new electronic document delivery service from Merchants Insurance Group is enabling personal lines policyholders to save time, money and the environment.

Available August 13, 2012, “ePolicy and eBill” allows personal lines policyholders to receive their policy and billing documents online by signing up for the service via the company’s website, www.merchantsgroup.com. Once signed in, the user is taken to their new personalized “Welcome to Merchants Insurance Group” page, where they can follow the quick and easy enrollment steps.

“ePolicy” eliminates the paper policy by delivering documents directly to the policyholder via e-mail. They can save a PDF copy to their computer, print the policies or view the material online. “eBill” eliminates the paper invoice. The bill can be viewed and paid online via a number of options. All of a user’s documents are stored online for easy viewing and retrieval.

Once a user has signed up to receive their information electronically, they will receive e-mail notifications when a new document is available for viewing, and will simply need to sign into the Merchants’ website to retrieve their documents.

 

The service is available to all personal lines policyholders who have a personal auto, homeowners, dwelling fire and/or personal umbrella policy.
