Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Dan Bierbrauer, Senior Vice President, Regional Operations, has been given the Thom McDaniel Exemplar Award from the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York (IIABNY) at a virtual reception in May.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious organization and I would like to share this award with my colleagues at Merchants” Mr. Bierbrauer said. “I’ve enjoyed working with IIABNY in various capacities and look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship.”
This award is presented as a reflection of the individual’s dedication and unwavering support of the Independent Agency System by the recipient’s words, deeds and actions.
A graduate of SUNY-Empire State with a degree in Marketing Management, Mr. Bierbrauer has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including work with insurance companies and independent agencies. He joined Merchants in 1998 and has held several officer level positions and was recently promoted to his current position.
Mr. Bierbrauer and his family are residents of Grand Island, NY.
