Merchants Hosts First Meat Raffle to Support United Way

On Friday, September 26, 2025, Merchants Insurance Group colleagues gathered for the company’s first Meat Raffle, with proceeds benefiting this year’s United Way campaign.

The event, held at Bison City Rod & Gun Club, brought corporate colleagues together for an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition, all for a good cause! In addition to chances to win a variety of meat packages, attendees entered raffles for desserts and baskets.

The Meat Raffle was a new addition to Merchants’ lineup of colleague fundraising events for its annual United Way campaign, which includes favorites such as the annual basket raffle, holiday bazaar, and Bills tailgate lunch.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our colleagues and their guests, the evening was a massive success, raising nearly $8,500 for United Way! Attendees had a great time while helping to further support United Way’s mission to strengthen our local communities.
