Merchants Insurance Group is proud to recognize Stephen Cross, Manager of Enterprise Technology Services in the Business Information Technology Solutions Department, as the 2015 President’s Award winner, the highest honor Merchants bestows on its colleagues.
Mr. Cross was nominated by Peter Balisteri, Chief Information Officer. The award was presented by Merchants’ President and CEO Bob Zak in February.

Mr. Cross was selected as the 2015 winner of the President’s Award as he lives the Company’s core values and tirelessly works for the Company’s policyholders, agents, colleagues and other stakeholders through his hard work, professionalism, self-development and competency.
Mr. Cross has been with Merchants since 2011, beginning as the Manager of Network Services. His current position, as Manager of Enterprise Technology Services, encompasses IT Operations and Networking.
He is a 1999 graduate of the University at Buffalo with a BS in Computer Science, and also obtained an MBA from UB in 2006.
