Greg Robinson, Regional Vice President, Western Regional Office
Merchants Insurance Group is proud to announce the promotion of Gregory Robinson to Regional Vice President, Western Regional Office.
In his new position, Mr. Robinson will be responsible for all regional operations in Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. He will oversee the underwriting and sales staff in Merchants’ Buffalo regional office, and is responsible for the growth and profit of these four territories for the company.
Mr. Robinson has been with Merchants since 2013, beginning as Regional Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager. Prior to coming to Merchants, he worked for other insurance carriers in various commercial underwriting roles during the past 25 years.
He holds an associate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Applied Science from Erie Community College. He also holds his Associate in Risk Management degree (ARM), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) degree, and is currently working on his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
Mr. Robinson, a native of Buffalo, currently resides with his family in Kenmore.
