“Merchants Mobile” App Now Provides Proof of Auto Insurance in MI, NH, NJ, OH, PA and VT

Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to unveil another feature to Merchants Mobile, their smart device app, which now includes automobile insurance ID cards for commercial vehicles. The Merchants Mobile app is available for all smart devices and is available for commercial automobile policyholders in Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Vermont.

In order to get the app, users would need to get a username and password at www.merchantsgroup.com, then go to their respective app store and download the Merchants Mobile app by searching for “Merchants Insurance”. They will then sign in to the app with their Merchants’ username and password. There is no cost to download the app, which can be used immediately.

The app can also be used for claims and billing functions, and allows users to:

  • Save their account information to avoid having to rekey it every time they makea payment
  • Review their payment history, payment amounts and due dates
