Merchants Insurance Group recently introduced their new MAP® Contractors Package program, offering additional contracting business classes  in a new streamlined online quoting platform to help independent agents write more contractors business.

The new program, available March 1, 2020, for new business, is offered through Merchants Preferred Insurance Company, part of the Merchants Insurance Group family of property and casualty insurance companies.

MAP® Contractors Package offers more than 50 contracting classes targeting small artisan to middle market contracting operations.

Automatic coverages included in MAP® Contractors Package consist of commercial general liability, employment practices liability, contractors equipment and installation coverage, among others that contractors need. Additional optional coverages include contractors errors and omissions, cyber liability, and building and business personal property coverage, equaling a complete package of business protection.

This new program is now on the new, highly automated and streamlined quoting platform to make quoting easier for agents, produces industry-standard ACORD applications, and creates a comprehensive insurance proposal for presentation to prospective insureds.
