Merchants Hosts “Bye Week Bash” to Support United Way Campaign
Merchants Insurance Group colleagues came together for some football-themed fun at this year’s Bye Week Bash, held at the company’s corporate headquarters in downtown Buffalo, New York.
The annual event, previously known as the Bills Tailgate Lunch, supports Merchants’ United Way campaign and is one of the most anticipated fundraisers of the year. Since the Buffalo Bills were on their bye week, colleagues traded in the event’s usual game-day grilling for a pizza party, complete with themed decor and raffle prizes, including Josh Allen and James Cook jerseys.

All colleagues showed their team spirit, decked out in Bills blue, red, and white.
Brandon Brown was crowned the best dressed Bills fan in attendance!

Colleagues enjoyed pizza, snacks, and time spent together while raising funds to benefit this year’s United Way campaign. The event offered a great opportunity to celebrate team spirit for both the Buffalo Bills and Team Merchants as colleagues rallied together to support United Way and the communities it serves.
The Bye Week Bash is one of several colleague-led fundraisers hosted throughout the fall to support Merchants’ annual United Way campaign. In September, Merchants hosted its first Meat Raffle to support United Way, and colleagues look forward to the annual Basket Raffle Week and Holiday Bazaar in the months ahead.
Merchants Insurance Group is proud to support United Way and its lasting impact on our its local communities.
