Merchants Corporate Colleagues Enjoy Social at Other Half Brewing
On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Merchants Insurance Group hosted its annual Colleague Social! Corporate colleagues gathered for a post-workday outing at Other Half Brewing, located just a few hundred feet from Merchants’ corporate headquarters in downtown Buffalo, New York.
The Social gave colleagues the opportunity to mingle and even take part in some friendly competition over cornhole!
Each colleague received two drink tickets to enjoy beverages of their choice from Other Half Brewing’s selection, and Merchants ordered a variety of pizza and wings from Bella Pizza.
All colleagues in attendance were entered into a raffle drawing. Prizes included tickets to the August 5, 2023 “Return of the Blue and Red” Buffalo Bills practice, tickets to a Buffalo Bills preseason game, and MerchantsDise (Merchants merchandise!) such as blankets, towels, golf balls, and coolers!

Colleague Appreciation Events
At Merchants, we know that our successes are a collective effort, and we love to celebrate the hard work, achievements, and commitment of our colleagues as often as we can! In addition to small tokens of recognition throughout the year such as our monthly “Cause for Applause,” Merchants hosts a series of Colleague Appreciation events throughout the summer. Prior to the Colleague Social, colleagues enjoyed breakfast in the breakroom in June and a barbecue lunch catered by BW’s BBQ in July.
