Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that John Bodensteiner, Corporate Business Analytics Specialist, has been awarded the professional insurance designation Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) by The Institutes, an educational organization that confers the CPCU designation on persons who complete eight rigorous courses and examinations and meet its ethics and experience requirements.
All CPCUs are required to maintain and to improve their professional knowledge, skills and competence through their commitment to The Institutes’ CPCU Code of Professional Conduct.
Mr. Bodensteiner began his career at Merchants in 1980 as a claims adjuster. Before assuming his current position in the marketing department in 2014 where he leads the target marketing initiative and the state strategy process, John gained valuable leadership experience in the areas of investments, strategic planning, corporate financial analysis, project management and enterprise risk management.
Mr. Bodensteiner is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Mr. Bodensteiner and his family are residents of West Seneca.
