Merchants Insurance Group Employees Donate Over $5,000 to Local Food Banks

Merchants Insurance Group employees recently donated over $5,000 to food banks across our communities. The donations were a result of Grubhub credits distributed to all Merchants employees with the option to use personally or forego and allow the money to become a charitable contribution to a local food bank instead. Over half of the money given to employees for Grubhub was returned to be donated instead, and went to the following food banks in each of our regions:

  • Eastern Strategic Business Center (Hauppauge, NY) – Long Island Cares Inc.
  • Midlantic Regional Office (Mt. Laurel, NJ) – Food Bank of South Jersey
  • New England Regional Office (Manchester, NH) – NH Food Bank
  • Corporate & Western Strategic Business Center (Buffalo, NY) – FeedMore WNY
