Merchants’ Western Strategic Business Center Participates in Assured Partners’ School Supply Drive, “Filling Backpacks with Love”

This summer, Merchants Insurance Group’s Western Strategic Business Center (WSBC), located in Buffalo, New York, gathered donations for Assured Partners’ Filling Backpacks with Love school supply drive for students in need in our community.

Earlier this year, Merchants Insurance Group recognized Assured Partners, located in Getzville, New York, as our 2021 Agent of the Year. Their nomination cited the agency’s extensive involvement in the Buffalo community, from drives and fundraisers to leadership serving on boards of several local organizations.
Since the mass shooting at Tops Friendly Markets on May 14, 2022, Assured Partners has once again stepped up for the Buffalo community, donating their time and resources to organizations such as the Upper Room Pantry and the Group Ministry in the community impacted most by the horrific tragedy.

This summer, Assured Partners gathered school supplies such as backpacks, pens, highlighters, pencils, notebooks, markers, and more for students and teachers in Buffalo’s East Side community.
When our valued agency partner asked for help with this cause, colleagues at Merchants’ Western Strategic Business Center collected backpacks and bundles of school supplies to contribute.
