Merchants Insurance Group Recognized Among Buffalo Business First’s Fastest Growing Companies Based on Three-Year Revenue Growth
For the sixth consecutive year, Merchants Insurance Group has been named on Buffalo Business First’s “Fast Track” list.
The annual list highlights the Western New York region’s fastest growing companies, based on revenue growth over a three-year period. Based on data collected from 2021-2023, Merchants ranked 31 of 39 companies on this year’s list, with 14.7% revenue growth.
Charles E. Makey, III, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merchants Insurance Group, stated that the company is proud to have made the list again in 2024.
“This recognition – for six consecutive years – speaks to Merchants’ pattern of growth and profitability, and to our company’s strength throughout industry cycles,” said Mr. Makey. “Merchants’ continued ‘Fast Track’ status is a testament to the hard work of our colleagues and our commitment to our agent partners and policyholders.”
Mr. Makey was invited to celebrate Merchants’ achievement with other Fast Track company leaders at a private reception hosted by Buffalo Business First at The Terrace at Delaware Park on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
