Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Robert Tromans, Data Analytics Specialist, Actuarial Department, has been awarded the professional actuarial designation Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is a leading international organization for insurance education and credentialing. CAS credentials demonstrate the expertise to identify, analyze and advise on the potential financial impact of risk and uncertainty. Professionals educated by the Casualty Actuarial Society empower business and government to make well-informed strategic, financial and operational decisions. To achieve the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation, students must pass six actuarial exams and two online courses, demonstrate educational experience in three separate topics and complete a course in professionalism. The CAS has 6,300 members.
Mr. Tromans has been with Merchants since 2008, and graduated from City University, London, England, with a BSc in Actuarial Science. He resides in the Village of Kenmore with his family.
