Merchants Attends and Sponsors 2025 Best Places to Work and HR Impact Awards Event
As one of Business First’s Best Places to Work in Western New York, Merchants Insurance Group was invited to attend the annual Best Places to Work & HR Impact Awards celebratory event at Buffalo RiverWorks on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
While the event celebrated all 67 Best Places to Work finalists, Business First also presented several additional awards, including winners with the top survey scores in each size category. For the second consecutive year, Merchants Insurance Group received second place in the X-Large company (250-799 Employee) category!
2025 marks Merchants Insurance Group’s third consecutive year on Business First’s annual Best Places to Work in Western New York list.
Finalists are determined by the results of an anonymous employee survey. The survey, taken in the fall each year, measures employee engagement in six categories: communication, employee needs, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, team dynamic, and trust in leadership.
