Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Anthony Stachowski, Commercial Auto Product Manager, Product Management, has been awarded the professional actuarial designation Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is a leading international organization for insurance education and credentialing. CAS credentials demonstrate the expertise to identify, analyze and advise on the potential financial impact of risk and uncertainty. To achieve the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation, students must pass six actuarial exams and two online courses, demonstrate educational experience in three separate topics and complete a course in professionalism. The CAS has 7,500 members.
Mr. Stachowski has been with Merchants since March 2014 and began as an Actuarial Analyst. He holds a bachelor of science in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a master of arts in theology from Notre Dame.
Currently a resident of Buffalo, Mr. Stachowski previously resided in Elma.
