Corporate Colleague Outing at the Barrel Factory
On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Merchants Insurance Group corporate colleagues enjoyed an evening of dinner, entertainment, and socializing at the Barrel Factory, a beautiful venue with a storied past located in Buffalo’s Old First Ward.
Each year, Merchants Insurance Group hosts a series of Colleague Appreciation Events throughout the summer, ending with the Colleague Outing in September. This evening event includes dinner and entertainment at a location around Buffalo, New York. It’s the perfect way to celebrate our colleagues’ hard work, strengthen our bonds outside of the office, and head into the final quarter of the year!
At the start of the evening, colleagues mingled, enjoying a large selection of hors d’oeuvres and even a signature cocktail, the Merchants Mule! Dinner included salad and colleagues’ choice of a chicken & beef duet or vegetable strudel, followed by platters of desserts and coffee.
The evening’s entertainment featured a mobile golf simulator, music provided by CJ Sound, and a distillery tour from Barrel Factory owner Steve Bystran.
In addition to the Colleague Outing at the Barrel Factory, this summer’s Colleague Appreciation events included breakfast in the breakroom in June, a barbecue lunch catered by BW’s BBQ in July, and a Colleague Social at Other Half Brewing in August.
