Merchants Insurance Group has enhanced their online services for business insurance policyholders with the introduction of electronic document delivery, or ePolicy and eBill. ePolicy eliminates paper policies by delivering policy documents to policyholders electronically, and eBill eliminates the paper invoice by allowing policyholders to view and pay their bills online via a number of options.
Enrollment in the service can be completed by either the agent or the policyholder. Agents can enroll a policyholder either at the point of sale (during the new business application process), or at any time during the policy period. Policyholders can quickly enroll themselves at any time during their policy period by visiting Merchants’ website (www.merchantsgroup.com), logging in with their ID and password, and following a few simple steps.
Finally, with the introduction of electronic document delivery, we are also offering most policyholders the ability to print Workers’ Compensation posting notices and Commercial Automobile identification cards, except where prohibited by state law.
