Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce Thomas A. Meyers as the company’s incoming Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr. Meyers will be working closely with Merchants’ current CFO Ken Wilson, who will retire at the end of this year.

Mr. Meyers joins Merchants with more than 30 years of experience in finance and in the insurance industry. Mr. Meyers obtained his BA from Houghton College and his MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, and is a Certified Associate in Project Management.

In addition to his on-the-job experience, he is the author of a several books on finance and investments.
