Merchants Insurance Group Names New Regional Territory Manager

Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that David Wehr has been names as the Ohio Territory Manager for the Central New York, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.

Based in Ohio and serving agents throughout the state, Mr. Wehr is responsible for agency relationship building, premium production, profitability and responsible for agency relationship building, premium production, profitability and recruiting of agents. Prior to joining Merchants, he worked as an agent and district sales manager with various carriers.

Mr. Wehr, a resident of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University and also holds the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation.
