Merchants Insurance Group Reaffirmed A- (Excellent) Rating with Stable Outlook; AM Best Cites “Very Strong” Balance Sheet
Merchants Insurance Group announced that its member companies – Merchants Mutual Insurance Company, Merchants Preferred Insurance Company, and Merchants National Insurance Company – have received an A- (Excellent) rating with a stable outlook from AM Best.
In its evaluation, AM Best cited Merchants’ “very strong” balance sheet, highlighting the group’s strong capitalization, surplus growth, and prudent investment portfolio.
