Merchants Insurance Group was recently featured in The Standard, a New England based insurance newsmagazine, in the publication’s Salute to Independent Agents issue. Each year, the Salute to Independent Agents issue of The Standard features articles written for the benefit of and in celebration of independent insurance agents. The 2026 edition was published on April 17, 2026.

In her article, Trautwein explores the evolving role of carrier and agency collaboration in the modern insurance industry, highlighting the value of strategic partnerships.
