Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Ginny Winkworth, Customer Experience Lead, has been named as co-chair of the Customer Experience Work Group of the Agents Council for Technology (ACT), a program of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), a trade group for independent insurance agents.
ACT helps independent agencies, carriers, and vendors to put new technology and systems into effect to improve industry workflows. ACT focuses on strategic trends to improve the customer experience, and provides recommendations for best practices. The ACT Customer Experience Work Group was designed to assist independent agents and their carriers to deliver an outstanding customer experience during the research, buying, renewal and advocacy periods.
In her position as Customer Experience Lead at Merchants, Ms. Winkworth is responsible for improving the overall agent and policyholder experience by serving as the “voice of the customer” for agents and policyholders in key corporate initiatives.
Before joining Merchants in January 2017, Ms. Winkworth was responsible for customer relationship management for an insurance services provider. She also has previous work experience as a personal lines underwriter and insurance business analyst.
She has a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and also holds the Associate in Underwriting (AU) certification. She resides in Youngstown, N.Y. with her family.
